In July, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project to Fred Weber, Inc. that would replace the pavement, close in the median, and add a third lane on Interstate 44 between Pacific and the Route 100 (Washington) exit.
