Springfield Area Road Work Schedule:

Route 60/65 Interchange Project

• NIGHTTIME RAMP/LANE CLOSINGS: Northbound right-lane of Route 65 closed at Route 60. Northbound Route 65-to-westbound Route 60 ramp closed. Work hours: 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
  NIGHTTIME RAMP/LANE CLOSINGS: Westbound left-lane of Route 60 underneath Route 65. Westbound Route 60-to-southbound Route 65 ramp closed. Work hours: 10 p.m Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday.
                                                                                                                        

Route 65 Six Lane Widening Project

• NIGHT WORK: One northbound and one southbound lane of Route 65 closed between Route 60 and Battlefield Road. Installing storm drains/box culverts in the median. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Work zone speed limit: 45 mph.
  TRAFFIC SHIFT: Northbound and southbound traffic shifted to right at railroad bridges between Sunshine Street and Chestnut Expressway. Speed limit reduced to 50 mph.

 

National Avenue and Route 60 Project:

• NIGHT WORK: One wetsbound lane of Route 60 closed underneath National Avenue. Contractor crews doing bridge work. Work hours: 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
  TRAFFIC SHIFTS and LANE CLOSINGS: Lane closings on National Avenue between a point north of Primrose Street and Kingsley Street. Also, traffic is shifted away from where crews are working. EXPECT DELAYS, especially during rush hours.
  Pedestrian walkway moved from west side of National Avenue to east side between Primrose Street and Republic Road.
  Work zone speed limit: 30 mph on National Avenue

 

Other Springfield Area Road Work

 

• Kearney Street at Route 65:  Lane closings. Contractor crews repairing and diamond-grinding bridge deck and laying asphalt.

   

• Various routes in Greene County:  Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint.
  

   

• Webster County Route A between Route 60 near Diggins and Webster County Route FF south of Marshfield:  One-lane traffic. Repairing shoulders.
  

   

• Route 65 at Route 38/Dallas County Route TT, at Route 215/Dallas County Route O and at Dallas County Route AA between Buffalo and Fair Grove: 

  Lane closings. Drivers urged to use caution and follow road signs and pavement markings.

   

• Route 13 at 142nd Road south of Bolivar:  Traffic slowdowns and possible traffic stops southbound. Contractor crews blasting rock. Work hours: 9:30-11 a.m. & 2-4 p.m. daily.
  
  
• Route 13 between Routes 83 and 32 in Bolivar:  One northbound lane closed.  Median work.
  

   

• Christian County Route HH north of Spokane:  One-lane traffic. Patching.

   

• Route 14 east of Elkhead:  Moving operation. Trucks may be stopped on roadway or pulled onto shoulder close to the road edge. Repairing roadway edges. Obey flaggers.
  

   

• Route 160 east of Rueter:  Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.
  

• Route 95 between Manes and Route 38:  One-lane traffic. Trimming trees.
