2009 Economic Recovery Projects in Northeast Missouri

Missouri received approximately $637 million for road and bridge projects and an estimated $150 million to address air, rail, transit, waterway and pedestrian projects throughout the state.  That amount of work supports and created an estimated 14,000 jobs, and could have an estimated $2.4 billion impact on the state's economy.

While no major projects have been slated specifically for northeast Missouri, approximately $15 million has been spent improving its minor road system. This includes 120 miles of resurfacing and pavement improvements. These are in addition to already programmed work this year.

 

2010 Pavement Improvement Projects in Northeast Missouri

The 2010 projects listed are in addition to what we already have planned for work during the summer of 2010. Approximately $5.525 million will be spent improving the minor road system, which includes 117 miles of resurfacing and pavement improvements with almost 70 miles funded by ARRA funds.
