MoDOT Motor Carrier Services is the single location where commercial motor carriers can get the information, credentials and permits they need to conduct business in Missouri. Carriers are in business to deliver goods quickly and safely at the lowest possible cost. MCS works to help carriers meet those goals.

MCS also enforces safety and economic regulations to help make our highways safe and fair workplaces.

What's News?

Emergency Declaration 09-11 gives farmers some extra leeway to get row crops from farm to storage quickly.

Emergency Declaration 09-12 includes private and for-hire motor carriers in the effort to get row crops from farm to storage and from storage to another storage or end user facility.

I-44 Head-to-head traffic - Between mile markers 176 and 184, east and westbound traffic is moving in one lane each. Expect delays in the area, especially between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. Reconstruction of traffic lanes should be complete by late November.
