Warrensburg project schedule

• January 13, 2009: Early notice to proceed
  
• Roadway work to start on north side of US 50 to construction most of the ramps and the US 50 temporary bypass
• April 30, 2009: US 50 temporary bypass open with one-lane traffic in each direction
• May 1, 2009: Start of excavation for MSE Walls and US 50 bridges
• Construction of the bridge over Bear Creek and UP railroad in 2009
• October 31, 2009: US 50 open to two-lane traffic in each direction on new bridges and rebuild eastbound lanes
• Excavation work will proceed north to south in 2009 and early 2010
• Rest of bridge construction in 2010
• Paving in 2010, finished in late summer or early fall

• February 2009: Groundbreaking ceremony
  Survey work begins
• March 2009: Excavation and ground work
• June 2009: Construct Higginsville Road
• March 2010: Begin construction for the "Gap" roadway
• May 2010: Ramp construction at the interchange
• July 2010: Signing, rumble strip installation and striping for new roadway.
• August 2010: Paving for remaining shoulders and final striping
• September 2010: Project completion
